WVIZ-TV's Kamm's Corner program will devote a half-hour to the recent Supreme Court decision on gays and its ramifications. Among the guests will be a representative of the GEAR Foundation, a member of. C.A.L.F.A., and a constitutional lawyer. The show can be seen on April 15 at 8:00 p.m., and will be repeated Saturday, April 17 at either 5:00 or 5:30.....

A 16 year old Lorain County youth and his parents are seeking $8.5 in damages from Bay View Hospital and staff surgeon Dr. Raymond Rooney for "instances of medical malpractice by the hospital doctor which led to the castration of the youth." Apparently, what happened is that the doctor ordered removal of an infected left testicle without ever examining the right one. Eight months later, the youth experienced severe right scrotum pain and was forced to have his right testicle removed. Lawyer Joseph Schneider said his client will have to take male hormone pills the rest of his life and must undergo further surgery....

The Vaults is taking another new step in entertainment for the Cleveland gay community.

They are initiating a dinnertheatre package on Friday nights which includes a full sitdown dinner, the first cocktail and show for only $5.50. Festivities start at seven p.m. Radio Lambda needs volunteers. If you've ever been interested in doing any type of radio work, here's your chance. Those of you out Akron way will be pleased to know about P 'N G's Smoke Pit, a new disco bar-restaurant in Barberton, Ohio. The Pit is only ten minutes from Akron's American and is open until 4 a.m. on weekends. It just could become Akron's afterhour's hangout....

You can bust your (pea) nuts at Bayou's Lower Landing. Just mix them right in with the sawdust on the floor (?)... The Canton Women's Volleyball Team celebrated their district victories at a banquet on April 2nd at Mergus'... Also on April 2nd Chuck Stiles, owner of Hal's Corner celebrated his birthday... Winners of Miss Hal's Corners were Queen Miss Chastity Hutton, and runners-up Miss. Denine, Miss Mikki Nevorshak, Miss Teri Lynn Sommers, and Miss April Carmen...

So far as my research has carried me, Coventry Books still has the widest selection of gay literature. and educational materials in Cleveland.
